Classic Beef Taco

(served at El Toro Blanco)


2 tortillas chips
4 ½ oz Seasoned ground beef 
1 ½ ounce grated cheese cheddae 
1 ½ ounces of chopped lettuce 
1 ½ chopped tomatoes 
2 teaspoon of Mexicana Crema 
2 teaspoon of chopped cilantro

Seasoning ground beef:

¼ cup toasted cumin seeds and ground 
¼ cup chipotle powder 
¼ cup paprika 
¼ freshly ground pepper 
¼ cup minced garlic 
¼ cup onion powder 
¼ Mexican chocolate powder 
2 teaspoon Mexican oregano 
¼ cup salt


In a large rondeau over high heat add the vegetable oil and heat, add onions and sweat until lightly browned, add ground beef and sauté until nicely brown. And seasoning mix and chopped cilantro and let cool.

Taco Assembly:

Place seasoned, browned ground beef on the plancha and cook until slightly crispy on the outside. Place 1 ½ ounces of ground beef in each taco shell. Top each taco with shaved lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, a slice of avocado, drizzle of creman and a pinch of cilantro.
